Meb Keflezighi has proven time and time again that he is a running machine. With his wins at Boston, New York and a silver medal in the 2004 Olympics, he is now taking on another challenge. To break the US Men’s Masters record at the TCS NYC Marathon on November 1st.
T-Mobile announced on October 23rd, that they will serve as the official sponsor of Meb as he runs in his 10th NYC marathon on his quest to beat the record.
John Legere, President and CEO of T-Mobile said in a statement about the partnership, “He’s incredibly fast, strong, and is completely redefining what is humanly possible. Which is inspiring. This sponsorship is about a shared passion for changing the game, and for never ever striving for anything less than making history. Go Meb!”
T-Mobile is inviting fans to join in on the coverage while cheering on Meb during marathon Sunday. Starting this Friday, you can submit your best guesstimate of the number of steps Meb will take from the start of the race to the finish line and have a chance to win some cool prizes.
